25 years old, a calf in the flower bed, and a drunkard baby!

So, I was headed out the door to put items in the car in preparation for our pool trip when I noticed motion out of the corner of my eye. I had to double take to realize a baby calf had climbed up into our flower bed. Random, I thought so, but it gave us all a good laugh.

We celebrated Talon's 25th birthday this month with some cheesecake, gifts, and a family dinner at the Olive Garden. I love being able to share these years by his side.

Last Friday, the family packed up our gear and headed to Lava Hot Springs. After having not 

swam at a pool in two summers, it was a sight to behold. The water was warm, there were six diving boards for me to enjoy to my hearts content, four slides, and platforms to jump from. 

It is my ideal pool and the whole family had a blast! We'll definitely be visiting again.

After a day at the hot springs, we went out to eat at Rupe's. Leah loved the fries (and the drinks too).

Leah and I visited dad at work this week (actually, seeing as his work is about a 1 minute walk from the house, we visit him everyday) but this day we were able to ride with him on the tractor. After about an hour, Leah started falling asleep, which is why she looks anything less than enthused.
