Every time the oven timer goes off, Leah will first of all jump, but then she gets up from whatever she is doing, heads to the kitchen, opens the towel drawer, grabs an oven mitt, puts it on, and walks over to the oven saying hot, hot, hot. I love it!
Leah loves to read and will sit for long periods of time reading by herself. For those of you who are mothers, you know that this can be very entertaining because they actually talk (or jibber jabber) as if they were reading the story.
Jed does that too! He likes to put the oven mitt on his hand and say "hot" when I open the oven. This is such a fun age, isn't it?
