Yellowstone

For our family vacation this summer, Talon and I took the girls to Yellowstone National Park. We hit the IMAX theatre on our way into the park, watched a film on its history, and then started our long journey through Yellowstone. Our first stop was at the infamous Old Faithful geyser.

This picture is of another geyser we hiked to near Old Faithful. All the different geysers and hot pools on the hike were unique and interesting to see.

Leah however, found the chipmunks to be the most interesting.

We saw a lot of buffalo alongside the road and yes, they still scare me.

Some of our last stops were at Mud Volcano and Mammoth Hot Springs. The picture doesn't due justice the beauty of what a hot spring can create over thousands of years.

Throughout the day, Talon and I saw and heard many different languages and people from all over the world touring the area. We are blessed to be just a few hours from one of nature's most unique beauties.
